Buckhorn conceived the plan as a catalyst for private investment in an economically depressed section of the city. He also wants the park to be more accessible. His vision for the park includes realigning Laurel Street to skirt the north edge of the park. This would add 5 to 7 acres to the usable space. Click here for the next blog post.
